NUMIX IDENTITY, NAMING, PROUCT AND PACKAGING

Project Overview
Moving from licensed products to an original brand required a shift in strategy and mindset. This project focused on building a new identity from the ground up, prioritizing clarity, product value, and visual trust. Designed by Ivan Hernandez, the packaging system was developed to feel clean, cohesive, and competitive within a high-end retail environment. The goal was to create a product that could stand on its own without the support of an established license while still delivering strong shelf impact and clear communication.
Challenge
Transitioning from well-known licensed brands to an original product meant starting from zero recognition. The challenge was to build credibility, trust, and desirability without relying on brand equity. At the same time, the product needed to compete visually in a saturated tech retail environment.
Solution
A clean and structured visual system was developed to highlight the product and its key features. Minimal layouts, controlled color palettes, and precise typography improved readability and hierarchy. The design focused on making the product the hero while reinforcing a premium, organized feel.
Results
The product launched in California as a controlled market test.
Strong visual clarity and positioning helped the product stand out at retail. The entire collection sold out within two months of launch. The project validated the transition from licensed reliance to original brand development.
